Symbols of Olympic Proportion

File:Olympic rings.svg

You no doubt have seen the Olympic Rings. You likely recognize that they represent five parts of the world which Olympians represent - blue represents Europe, black represents Africa, red represents America, yellow represents Asia, and green represents Oceania. All who see the symbol recognize its meaning.

Likewise, you've also seen another symbol that is widely recognized. This symbols means that anyone who wears it is a member of the National Association of Realtors and abides by its code of ethics.

The code of ethics of NAR holds that REALTORS (R) pledge themselves to protect and promost the interests of their clients. All parties in a transaction need to be dealt with honestly. REALTORS (R) may not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familiar status, national origin, or sexual orientation. REALTORS (R) may not make false or misleading statements about other real estate professionals or their businesses.

We wear our REALTOR (R) pins proudly.
