George Herman "Babe" Ruth was born in Baltimore in 1895, made his MLB debut in 1914, became a NY Yankee in 1919, and was elected to the Basebal Hall of Fame in 1936.
During his life, Babe spent some time on his farm in Sudbury, Massachusetts. That 5124 square foot home and farm are now offered for sale, including the Babe Ruth memorabilia room on the third floor. If you happen to have $1.65 million and love the Great Bambino, this home could be yours!
Incidentally, the Sultan of Swat had some advice for Real Estate professionals - he said, "Don't let the fear of striking out hold you back." While he didn't necessarily intend for that advice to be for realtors, it certainly applies - are you so afraid of failing that you're not trying? Don't let the Babe down - go out and do it!
